Results and reports

We’re really proud of our school, both in the progress our children make here, and in the environment and culture we have at Meltham Moor. This page offers some key data and evidence to help you compare our school, including what our own parents say about the school.

Well done to the Class of 2025!

Our children outperformed both local and national averages on key measures at the end of Key Stage 2.

These fabulous results have been achieved through the hard work, resilience and dedication of pupils and staff. The children’s attendance is excellent and this makes a massive difference to their educational experience. They love to learn and clearly demonstrate all of our core school values making them wonderful role models to our younger children. We are all very proud.

What do our parents think?

  • My child loves school, just like her brother, and we've loved seeing her grow and flourish in Year 1 as she develops her knowledge and confidence.

  • Meltham Moor and the staff do a wonderful job of nurturing the children when they're younger to ensure they continue doing their best right through to Year 6. We are 100% pleased we chose Meltham Moor for both of our children. Thank you!

  • Thanks to all the hardworking teachers and everyone else who contributes to the school and its smooth running.

My child is well cared for, and his individual needs are assessed and considered to get the very best out of him.

  • The Headteacher is a strong leader and role model whilst also being kind and approachable. She takes time to not just know every child’s name but also their individual learning journey.

Meltham moor is a lovely school with a welcoming community feel. When a family from Ukraine came to our school, everyone went out of their way to help them.

  • My daughter absolutely loves school. As a nervous first-time parent, I was worried about her starting nursery. She has settled beautifully I couldn't be happier with the care she gets from the lovely staff and Nursery teachers.

Meltham moor is a lovely school with a welcoming community feel. When a family from Ukraine came to our school, everyone went out of their way to help them.

  • My child has settled in very quickly, for the first time she enjoys school. She can spell her name and started sounding out first letters of words. Her progress has been fantastic in the short time she has been there. We made the decision to change the selected school as, firstly she loves it here and secondly, we do too.
